Energy Connect International Launches "Hygiene in Government Hospitals"

Following a deeply personal experience at Government Hospital in January 2025, the Founder President of Energy Connect International Foundation has launched a dedicated project to improve hygiene standards and basic facilities in government hospitals. The initiative calls upon citizens and donors to support a mission focused on dignity, cleanliness, and safe drinking water for patients in public healthcare institutions.

Announcement details

Hyderabad, Telangana | February 2026

Energy Connect International Foundation has officially announced the launch of its new social impact initiative, “Hygiene in Government Hospitals,” aimed at improving cleanliness standards and ensuring access to safe drinking water in public healthcare institutions.

The initiative was inspired by a deeply personal experience of the Founder President, whose mother was admitted to Gandhi Hospital in January 2025 following a sudden heart attack.

While expressing profound gratitude toward the doctors and medical professionals for their dedication and expertise, the Founder highlighted serious concerns regarding hygiene and basic facilities in government hospitals.

>“The doctors were highly qualified, professional, and committed. They did everything possible to save my mother’s life. But the hygiene conditions and lack of basic facilities like proper drinking water were painful to witness. In moments when families are already emotionally shattered, the environment should not add to their suffering.”

The Foundation observed that although medical expertise in government hospitals matches high standards, environmental conditions often fall short when compared to private institutions. This gap directly impacts patient dignity and the overall healing environment.

🎯 Project Objectives:

The Hygiene in Government Hospitals project aims to:

- Improve sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Support maintenance of hygienic surroundings
- Ensure availability of safe drinking water facilities
- Promote dignity and comfort for patients and their families
- Encourage community participation in public health improvement

💡 A Call to Action

Healthcare and education are fundamental rights of every citizen of India. However, access to dignified and hygienic healthcare environments remains a challenge in many public institutions.

Energy Connect International Foundation is now mobilizing resources and seeking public support to scale this initiative across government hospitals.

>“We cannot change the entire system overnight. But we can take responsibility for the part we can influence. Every donation—big or small—contributes to restoring dignity to someone fighting for life.”

🤝 How to Support

The Foundation invites individuals, corporate partners, CSR contributors, and philanthropists to participate in this mission. Contributions will directly support hygiene infrastructure, sanitation initiatives, and drinking water facilities in government hospitals.

Each donation represents:

- Clean surroundings for a patient
- Safe water for a family
- Dignity in times of vulnerability
